Creating, developing and launching a challenger brand


Create and launch a new wellness brand into a crowded market, beginning with a restaurant and digital hub. Take the brand through naming and group hierarchy right up to styling, tone of voice and public launch across digital channels and the first Sano restaurant.


This was the meeting of two worlds: nutritional science and passion for tasty food. The look and feel of the brand needed to reflect that, with imagery and language which linked the two, but remained firmly in real life, and appealing to the busy city customers the brand would initially be targeting.


The foundation was a clean, precise logo and a manifesto that set out this revolutionary brand’s aims. This expanded into a combination of scientific patterns and inspirational imagery which painted a picture of what life with Sano could mean for people who embraced its new and empowering approach to eating and living.
