We’re delighted to wake up this morning (even though we’re a little hungover) as winners of the dba’s Inclusive Design Challenge!
Back in October, we got given our brief: how would we use design to keep the UK’s ageing population active and included?

We got stuck in, got talking with user groups, talked to care home residents and their carers, inched our way towards a big idea to tackle the problem – then sprinted for the finish.

5 months on, and there’s a fine little film about our idea to show you, a little ad on youtube too, some splendid audio out-takes (coming online soon) featuring the voice talents of everyone from Christopher Walken to Ren and Stimpy (or is it??).

And now there’s also a mighty fine scuplted-glass-shell-award thingy brightening up our receptionist’s morning.
