Thank you for the music Kev Bev

So, Kev Bev used to work here. He was a bit of a character, we all liked Kev. Anyway he left and went to live in Frome, stayed for three years but eventually decided he didn’t like it, apparently he found it frustrating and unfriendly. Shame.

Still, now he’s in Australia and out of the blue he sent us an email and amongst other things, said that he hadn’t bought a cd for three years, three years, imagine that! But he did say that he’d heard that the Broken Bells album was lovely.
Well, we had to admit to ourselves that we didn’t know anything about them but strangely, the very next night we heard them on the radio and blow us down they were good.

Broken Bells is a collaboration project between Brian Burton (Danger Mouse) and James Mercer (The Shins) and their debut single ‘The High Road’ is available as a free download on their official site, it’s a cracker and if the album is as good it’ll be a treat!

Thank you Kev Bev.
